An Incredible Season for Events

At Take Off Labs, we like to go the extra mile for our clients and that’s certainly been the case in the last few months.

We’re always striving to strengthen our brilliant team and that’s why we’ve been busy seeking to attract the best people at careers fairs.
And for the first time our efforts to attract the very best people in our field has taken us beyond Romanian borders as far afield as Moldova as well as a city that never sleeps.

Our team has taken part in many brilliant careers fairs and an arts festival which presented us with the opportunity to spread the word about Take Off Labs and the fantastic opportunities we offer to aspiring algorithmic problem solvers.
And that quest to boost Take Off Labs has taken us to the Moldovan capital for the very first time as well as the Cluj Never Sleeps festival which was amazing.

The careers fairs have been inspirational. We say that because there are so many fabulous people looking for new tech opportunities and the participants we met shared our enthusiasm for the work we do at Take Off Labs and our plans for the future.
Our senior developer managers enjoyed the opportunity of talking about the company explaining who we are, what we do and the opportunities which are available.
They also gave participants an insight into what it’s like to be part of the Take Off Labs team by explaining how our culture helped them progress their careers.

All in all, it was a privilege to meet so many great people and every event was special in its own right for the Take Off Labs team who returned to base with glowing reports about each event. Here is a round-up of our busy schedule:

Targul de Cariere Cluj

There will always be a special place in our hearts for Targul de Cariere Cluj and that’s not just because this was the third time Take Off Labs has been a principal TDC Cluj sponsor.

It is one of the biggest career events in Romania, which attracts a huge range of companies and many talented engineers, and more than half of our team was recruited at TDC events which is why it means so much to us.

The event was offline, and it was so nice to have the chance to talk with people on a virtual face-to-face basis.

Targul de Cariere Iasi

The event is similar to Targul de cariere Cluj and represented a new opportunity for Take Off Labs team. It was special because it was the first chance we’ve had to participate at Targul de Cariere Iasi and it was great to meet so many talented people.

Targul de Cariere Chisinau

This was the first time the Take Off Labs team had made the journey into Moldova to find new tech stars and it definitely won’t be the last. Chisinau is a truly stunning capital city and the interest in the work of Take Off Labs really did put smiles on our faces. There was no language barrier because Moldova is another country where people speak Romanian and we’re looking forward to meeting up with the participants again.

Cluj Never Sleeps

So, New York isn’t the only city that never sleeps! It was an honour to be the principal sponsors of the incredible ‘Cluj Never Sleeps’ festival.

This was the first time we’d attended this cultural event and it lived up to expectations. It promotes lots of different forms of art and culture, from musicals to visual and interpretive, all of which take you on an experiential journey. There were lots of opportunities to join different workshops and activities.

This year was the seventh edition of ‘Cluj Never Sleeps’, and it was bigger than ever. We were very excited to be the main sponsors and proud to have partnered with an incredible organisation that looks to promote art and culture in such a unique fashion.
