Take Off Labs Participate in Targul de Cariere Cluj & Zilele Carierei

At Take Off Labs, we’re passionate about finding new talent and welcoming it into our ranks by offering the chance to work on our market leading products, used by millions around the world. Over the course of the last couple of months, we’ve been busy participating in a number of career events, including Targul de Cariere, to get our story out there and talk about the range of opportunities we have available for aspiring algorithmic problem solvers.

Targul de Cariere

Targul de Cariere is one of the biggest career events in Romania, which attracts a huge range of companies and many talented engineers. More than half of our team was recruited at TDC events!

Having had a presence at the show for a number of years, this was the second time that Take Off Labs has been a principal sponsor.

Delivered as an online event this year due to the pandemic, every exhibitor had a virtual booth where delegates could ask questions and talk with company representatives, as well as apply for available positions.

As principal sponsors we were given the opportunity to host a live webinar, where Take Off Labs
iOS Senior Developer Andrei Blaj stepped up to deliver a fantastic session exploring the complexity behind the Today page transition in the iOS App Store.

In addition, Take Off Labs President & Co-Founder Flavia Grosan participated in a Q&A session at the event, where she provided delegates with key insights on how Take Off Labs has adapted and continued to grow during 2020, despite the pandemic. Zilele Carierei Timisoara

Take Off Labs was also very excited to be taking part in this year’s Zilele Carierei Timisoara, a career fair organised by the prestigious Polytechnic University of Timisoara.

At this online event, Flavia delivered a webinar entitled Making Golf Management Easy Through Technology; a one-hour session where she provided an introduction into some of the work we do at Take Off Labs, as well as how we as a company are navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.

There was also a Q&A session where students were given the chance to ask all manner of questions about working at the company, from current vacancies and eligibility, to working remotely and how to apply.
